Disappearing Act

When a model disappears,what makes it undisappear. LOL

I have no idea why this happens.

The model name shows in the folder, but no model.

Model does not show after inserting it to work on.

Obviously, I am doing something wrong but do not know what else to add.

can you post a screen shot of what your seeing?

 As a newbe, I do not quite understand how to save files. So, maybe
that is the problem.
