Dimensions nit snapping properly

Fusion seems to have stopped snapping properly

on a simple line snapped at both ends.  The dimension will be say 10.00000789.  Rather than 10.0000000

i have seen problems occur with intersections etc. If the dimension isnt bang on. Or i would totally ignore this

Hi @jeffescott ,

Thanks for posting to the Fusion 360 Forum.

Can I have a small video representation of the issue that you are facing? it's a bit difficult to understand without a video or a file.

Also, you can share your file and highlight the problem area.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Are you typing in parametric driving dimensions or are you simply “eyeball” snapping to grid?

@jeffescott

I am on vacation with no access to Fusion to check your file, but I can tell you I turned off snap to grid in my second CAD class back in 1987.
Went on to teach CAD for nearly 30 years and we never used snap to grid.

I recommend typing in precise parametric dimensions.
Hopefully someone will come along and Reply with a video of the technique (that works in any CAD software - returning absolutely predictable results).
