Dimensioning tool

Hello Fusion 360 Drawing Team,

While dimensioning a drawing is there a way to keep the tool active? It seems that the tool needs reactivating or 'Repeat Dimension' after every dimension. I tend to do many -linear or angular- dimension annotations in one go, the need for clicking for every dimension seems more 'work' then maybe needed.

Thanks for the insight into your workflow. At this point the command does end after a dimension is placed but there is some talk around how we would eventually enable continuous dimensioning and we definitely appreciate your input on the matter.

For now, perhaps the best way for you to rapidly place dimensions is to use the Marking Menu accessible by right clicking and using the Repeat (Last Command) option in the top of the menu. This can be accessed even more rapidly by clicking and holding the right mouse and dragging up to where the Repeat (Last Command) option is located (Top) and releasing.
