When including dimensions to a design drawing, diameter and radius measurements are shown as straight lines at an angle. Is there a way to places the numbers horizontally instead?

Can you use ASME standard rather than ISO?

Hi @Anonymous,

Try using a linear dimension- you can choose the points at which you're measuring from. You can always include the diameter/radius symbol after by double clicking on the dimension and inserting a symbol.

Hi muangthai_par,

As TheCADWhisperer mentioned, the dimension style used in the drawing (including the text alignment for diameter dimensions) is set per the standard (ASME/ISO) of the drawing.  There are other settings like 1st/3rd angle projection and inch/mm unit sheet sizes which also get defined per standard.  Currently we can't overwrite individual dimension style settings like diameter dimension text alignment.

Thanks,
Chris
