Different Simulations for Different Components

Hello,

What is the best way to setup different simulation studies on different components without them getting in the way of each other?

Within my design, I have multiple components and I would like to run independent simulation studies for each component individually at first. When I create a simulation study and remove all components except that one, it works fine. When I create a new simulation study for a second component, I then have to bring that component back into the simulation model components list by deleting the "remove" action in the Simplify timeline. Unless I keep switching back to Simplify mode to remove/un-remove components depending on the study I'm solving, I seem to get interference with previous studies/components. I'm not sure what is the best way to do this is and any advice would be appreciated!

Thank you,

Sima

If you want to test individual components within an Assembly use Simulation Models in the Simplify option in Simulation workspace. Here you can do anything to the Simulation Model without affecting your Design Timeline.

I have attached a PowerPoint giving the basic workflow and the file.

I think this answers the question you were asking.
