Design a shoe by sculpt mode, problem help please.

Hello,

I am trying to design a shoe but I am having trouble with a lot of things. I already did some research online and finish some design for shoe, so I decide to make some my own. But when I get into it, some problems come up and I am lost. Please help with this project.
Here is my Fusion360 file: http://a360.co/2v7MO2K
The first problem I encounter is: The form I made won't convert to a smooth curve display like in this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=daq89DJmgdw.

I've tried to download  your design 3 times, but I've not received an email from A360 with the download link. Can you check that out ?

On first look, there are a few fundamental problems with the document.   Some contiguous edges aren't weld together- you can demonstrate this for yourself simply by using Edit Form to pull a face.   Of a greater concern to me is the presence of non-quad intersections- that is to say,  places where odd number of splines intersect at a single non-edge vertex , commonly referred to as "star points".   When editing, if the form pops from curve-a-licious to bizzaro, you've almost certainly overlapped a face, attempted to combine an odd number of edges, and/or created a star point that mismatches with surrounding geometry.

Hi,

I've checked your model, and it needs a lot of fixing my friend, because most of the edges are not welded, and you have NGons ( faces with more than 2 edges )

Even welding the vertices is hard in your case because you have a lot of non-continuous edges

When you start creating your model in the sculpt environment, you should use quad faces with same faces connected to them, and nothing else like the NGons

Here is an example of a NGon that you have :

I made a screencast for you on how to fix your model, but the solutions presented in it are not the best ones, but they will do the trick, because again it's so messy ...

Regards

I understand the problem now. But I have another question. After I check and fix all those odd-edges. How can I recover the shape that I pulled out to check? I tried using edit tool but it looks messy.

Alright, I have a new problem. As you can see, I am trying to shape the curve so it would make an alignment for 2 edges. But the problem is at the vertex when it won't get to the place. I tried different tools in edit form but none of it works well enough, even try other planes, and edges. To be honest, I made this mistake a lot but it can bypass somehow since it is too small. Now I want to get to the core to solve it.

And by the way, you did a great job to get your model to look like this with normal quad faces :

I bet you feel the difference when working with these simple edges and faces Smiley Wink

you're getting better, keep going!

Alright, I click on "Share Public Link" and have this: http://a360.co/2uiDSJm
But it seems like it is the same link as above. I don't really know, I just save my work in there.
So now I have another problem because the bottom of the shoe and 2 sides are very different, so I was thinking to put in the Canvas and calibrate it with the shoes and manually adjust it. The problem is when I try to do it, only the bottom face change but not the entire thing because I select edges, it was because changing the whole faces above take more work. So I am trying to figure what should I do to change shape better, please give me an idea. Also, I am afraid that the whole shape of the shoes would mess up if I am not following the work carefully.
I know these shoes look weird but it is a worthy challenge.

Well, it was a little bit tricky at the front-end of the shoe because of the triangular shape. But a little of math and geometry helped me a bit there.

Your problem here is that you didn't edit the right thing, you need to know what to edit and how to edit it

Here is a screencast of what I mean
