I need to design a clock face, where numbers 1 - 12 are placed around its edge. Is there a function how to distribute the numbers around a circle path automatically or do I have to measure angles and rotate numbers manually?

hi marek2M3E8,

this is a bit of a vague question and the short answer is not easily in Fusion today.  We are working on adding text along path capability, but thats not going to help you now.

For the fastest results I would use an graphics program like Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape to lay our the design.  You'll have a lot more control over the text, spacing, orientation, fonts, etc. and then export that as an sag or dxf to insert into Fusion.

But, if you want to do it all in Fusion I would start by creating a sketch of the face and patterning the axes of the hour increments.

in a separate sketch I would then start working on the layout of the numbers.  I freely admit this will be a bit tedious in Fusion.

Here's the start of what I did.  I've attached the model so you can investigate how I approached this.

note, the attached model hole has the sketches in it, no 3d geometry.  feel free to play and manipulate it all you want.

hope this helps,
