Derived Instance when Inserting Componenets

Why do derived instances of all components that I have previously mirrored appear in the timeline when I insert a new component?

I'm not really sure what you are talking about. Can you provide an Autodesk Screencast video or steps to reproduce the problem, or attach the file? We need a little more information than this in order to help you.
