deleting files/folder

I am unable to delete some files which are no use to me, but fusion keeps saying that the files are being referenced by drawing or other designs and cannot be deleted. But the files are not being referenced by drawing or other designs.

Please help!

I have also seen this with designs that were referenced at one time. I do not have a solution; perhaps Fusion is keeping a record of what was used in each design and not purging it once the component is deleted.

That is hard to say without any more information.

You can see in the data panel which designs a component is used in.

If you click on the version and then select the used in tab it lists the designs that particular component is used in.

@TrippyLightingthe files that I am trying to delete are not used in any designs or drawings, I've just checked but it still says it is referenced in drawing or design when I try to delete the file.
