Data Panel blank or taking too much time to load

Hi,

I've been using Fusion 360 for the past 4 months. After some of the updates, the data-panel on the left is either blank or taking too much time to load.

Anything that can be done?

Hi @cheri.geor,

Thank you for posting your question in the Forum.

You might want to try a manual forced reset of the Fusion 360 data panel.

Just make sure that all files have been synchronized in A360 before you reset.

The knowledge article here would guide you through the process as well.

To Do that, you can follow these steps:

1. Close Fusion 360

2. Open the user specific ID folder in following paths

    MAC OS
    ~/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/Autodesk Fusion 360/<user specific ID>

   WINDOWS
   %localappdata%\Autodesk\Autodesk Fusion 360\ <user specific ID>

and rename the BrowserStorage_login.dat file to  BrowserStorage_login.dat.BAK

3. Restart Fusion 360. The *.dat file should be re-built and the re-sync starts.

Here is a screen shot how this folder looks like in Windows 7 computer.

I hope this helps. Please, keep us updated.

Thanks,

Thanks Mike.

I guess that worked. I tried your solution.
A file called "NsCloudBrowserCache_myhub.dat" got created and the data panel loaded immediately.

@Mike.Grau To late I uninstalled and re-installed it. That worked.

But I will try the proposed trick inside the Win10 system.

Hi Mike,

After the latest update, the data panel again refuses to load. I tried the steps above. Sadly this time it does not seem to work.

Hi @cheri.geor,

Thanks for getting back to us!

I know that I have seen issues in the past where the data panel was not appearing for some users due to not having the most up to date drivers for their graphics card. Could you try updating your graphics card drivers via the manufacturer's website and see if that helps at all?

If you are unsure of the manufacturer of your graphics card, you can check for this in your system information. To access your system information, launch %windir%\system32\msinfo32.exe from a Windows Explorer window. Once your system information appears, you should expand the "Components" section on the right side of the window and select "Display." This will show you all relevant information for any and all graphics cards you have hooked up to your machine.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions!

Cheers,
