Cut Depth Profile into Solid

Hi

I found this depth profile map of Lake Konstanz online and converted it into an STL file. I wanted to cut the profile into wood using my CNC machine. My idea was to layer the STL with a cube and then cut it out to create a solid piece with the profile engraved. However, I haven't figured out how to do this.

Any tips would be appreciated.

The mesh needs repair. All holes must be closed before proceeding to the machining stage.

Repairing the Mesh only closes it off, which is counterproductive if I want to cut it out. I tried turning it into a surface and then use Split Body, but that gives me the following error.
"Coincident tools would create illegal or non-manufacturable bodies. Try with separate tools."

the surface is in miserable shape.  fusion generally struggles with meshes.  It REALLY struggles with meshes that are this bad.  You'll need to do some work in a software designed for mesh editing first.  you don't need to close it off, but fixing the ragged edges, and then bring them up so the whole surface forms a "cup" shape would be enough.  the  lip of the "cup" would essentially be the banks of the lake.  the lip needs to be higher than highest point on the lake bottom.  once this is done you'll be able to use the shape to cut it out of a block.
