Custom Thread Profile

Good day everyone.

Can I cut this custom profile thread in Fusion? I drew the profile of one thread, now I would like to revolve it around the part at the desired pitch. Please see the attached part.

Your profile did not clear the outside of the cylinder when it was revolved.  I said in video I raised your profile up above the cylinder surface by 0.001" but in the attached model I half that to 0.0005".  Model is attached.

I can see from the Design History that you used Coil and Sweep to get this path. Can you do a screencast showing me how and which profiles you selected in both tools to get that outcome? I like the results but can't quite make sense of how you got them. Thank you sir.

I created the Screencast showing the process.  The use of a Coil was just my choice.  You could also create a Sweep path using a swept surface.
