Curving sheet metal to raduis

Hi all, I need some help, as a new fusion user I get stuck a lot, and as I am on the personal version, customer help is limited, so my problem now is I want to "curve" a sheet metal body to a specific radius, and there is where I get stuck... I inserted my .dxf drawing, extruded and then converted it to Sheet Metal, I tried the bend function, but can't get it to bend to my desired radius, (not the best tool for a 2450mm sheet radius to 2220mm) any help will be appreciated, In the first picture is the "tank" on wich my radius is based, it needs to go all the way around, with a 125mm overlap, second picture is my attempt at "bending" it, it looks good, but not on the radius I need, not sure how to get the correct radius by using the bend function anyway.Screenshot 2026-02-05 092854.pngScreenshot 2026-02-05 092918.png

This doesn't make logical sense.

How are you going wrap that tiny sheet all the way around that relatively huge cylinder in the real world, let alone have 125 mm overlap?

My apologies, it needs to for to the radius of the cylinder, there will be 6 sheets to form a complete ring, I do realise that metal is not elastic, thought that it goes without mentioning that there will be more.

So, there is only one single overlap?  Not an overlap at each sheet?

Looking at your hole pattern, I suspect 6 overlaps is the Design Intent.

If that is the case, then either your tank diameter is incorrect, or your sheet width is incorrect.

 

Do you want a concentric overlap (rough mock-up)

Your geometry looks correct but you'll need to decide on how you do the overlap. Is that a standard sheet size or just a bit over?Screenshot 2026-02-06 041751.png
