Curved Text

Hadn't found an answer to this before, so asking it myself.

In a sketch I'd like to create text that wraps around a bore feature. Not text on a curve but text around a curve on a 2D plane. As I am more a machinist than designer, any help with this is appreciated. The CAM part I can likely sort out (Pencil is good for fuax-engraving I hear).

That does not seem to work.

I have tried the following:

1. Created a new sketch on a plane

2. Create > Circle

3. Clicked the circle I just sketched

4. Create > Text

5. Clicked on the Circle sketch and started typing.

It does not work, it just types in a line and does not follow the circle.

You have to do one letter at a time.

Hi,

As long as Fusion doesn't offer this feature, instead of laboriously arranging single characters, you should use applications that provide such tools.
In article 13/23 I already mentioned the freeware "Gravit Designer" *.

*There are also Inkscape and others.
