hi all,

i'm a new user of F360, and i can't seem to get curvature comb working.  the function window pops up, but will not allow me to select a spline, either in or out of sketch edit mode.  what am i doing wrong?

thanks!

yeah, it's unfortunate.  The curvature comb analysis does not apply to sketch splines.  You can get there either with a context menu item:

or in the sketch palette:

thanks for your prompt attention!
just curious about a few things:
1. if "The curvature comb analysis does not apply to sketch splines," then what is it used for?2. i got the comb option in the sketch palette whilst making a fit point spline, but not a control point spline.3. how can i use the comb on splines after i have finished them?

the curvature analysis is for model edges.  Again, not defending this, just explaining it.

the screencast below shows how the comb works for sketch curves after creation.  You just select the curve and either go to the palette or the context menu.

ok, thanks Jeff, seems to be working now!  i appreciate the time you put into those replies, i feel kinda foolish.  for some weird reason i could not get it working on some splines i had created in a model i was working on, but when i started a new file, the comb feature seemed to be functioning normally.

Happy to help.  A small point of forum etiquette here - you marked your own response as the solution.  If you can mark my posts as the solution it would be better...  (you can mark several posts as solutions)  Thanks!

ok, i thought marking the last one would mark the whole thread; i'll do them all individually.
