cura install not working

I downloaded and installed Cura 2.4.0. Right after the install, it comes up and works just fine. After shutting it down, any restart asks "insert disk in drive D" and will not come up again. This is a Dell running Win10. I had this software installed on this computer prior to this and I used it many times. Unfortunately due to some malware problems, I had to restore back to the initial installation of win10. I reinstalled many of my other programs and they are working fine. Any help or suggestions as to where I can find help would be very much appreciated.
