Dear Autodesk, I am no grammar fetishist. Or maybe I am, actually. In any case, this message is not understandable to me, even after trying to mentally "repair" the language...

Yikes. That's some seriously messed up grammar. Thanks for bringing it to our attention, adriano.aguzzi!

In the meantime, can you File>Export and then Attach your *.f3d file here for diagnosis.

I suspect a parent/child issue.

Thank you, and yes indeed. The message cropped out while I was trying to move a sketch from a nested component to its parent component (which sometimes works, sometimes not). I wouldn't have guessed that based on the wording of the message though 🙂  I resolved the issue by simply giving up and leaving the sketch where it was.

Hi @AagAag ,

Do you mind sharing the file with me as well as the steps that led you to get this error? I'd like to share this with the team so they can potentially change this messaging.

Thanks,

Thank you but regrettably I cannot do that.  I had resolved the problem immediately by reversing the act of moving a sketch from a nested component to its parent component. In the meantime I have progressed with my design to the extent that I wouldn't be able to go back and reproduce the problem. Sorry about that...
