Cross Section of Parts?

I have two parts  in my design a collar & shaft. I would like to have a cross section of just the collar. Showing the shaft without the cross section.

Currently the section analysis tool is a "global" analysis. It doesn't currently allow you to specify which bodies or components participate in the analysis.

You could manually work around this issue by using an extrude cut feature to emulate the section view. 

You may consider requesting a feature on the Fusion 360 Ideastation to accomodate this workflow.

Well it only works on Visible bodies at my place.  (3 hidden)
