creating wire forms

I am learning to create body parts and  complete bodies of antique and custom built automobiles.

The preferred  method of producing these items it by creating a full sized  wire frame buck and then shaping the metal panels to fit the wire frame buck.

Presently manufacturing the wire frame buck takes longer to do than making the part or body.

Can I learn to create these wire bucks using Fusion 360?

Thank you.

Designing and creating a wire frame buck should be very simple to do in Fusion 360.  Here's a short screencast showing one way:

The hard part is creating the model to create the wire frame buck from Smiley Happy  In the screencast, I used a solid model, it would probably be better to use T-splines.  The Split body command will work equally well on both.

Once you have the wire frame buck modeled, use the sketches to create bending jigs in the CAM workspace.
