Creating Two-way Mirror Material

Hi,

I use Fusion to design infinity mirrors. It is an optical illusions that is created by placing light in between two mirrors, a normal mirror at the back and in front of the light a two-way mirror, this last mirror reflects 70-90% percent of the light and lets the other percentage through.

Now i would like to create a two-way mirror material, but havent been able to do so. Also it is so specific i cannot find a tutorial.

Is there anyone here who is experienced with making materials that could help me out to create this type of mirror?

Thanks in advance!

This cannot be done with Fusion 360. The implementation of dielectrics in the render engine is very basic!

I personally use Indigo Renderer to simulate the behavior of light. However similar results can be achieved with other spectral unbiased render engines, albeit a bit slower. LuxcoreRender is an open source implementation of a spectral render engine that supports this.

There is no plugin available and you are limited to .fbx, or .obj export/import.
