creating sketches at an angle

Hi sorry it this is a repeat question, I checked the previously answered things, but needed more information as I'm brand new to the program. I'm looking to extrude shapes at an angle. I've gathered that the thing to do is to construct a new plane, but it doesn't seem that any of the options work on my body without modification and I have no idea which to attempt. The shape I'm working on is basically a sphere shaped helmet and I'm trying to cut eyes out of it. Thanks.

First of all when asking a question about a particular model always attach your model to your question.  This does two things, you will get a more accurate and usable solution and you will usually get it quicker.  A sphere is a rough animal to work on the outside surface so you have to create the planes you need from the center of it.  If you have constructed the sphere on the origin, this is easy.  My attached model has two planes at 30 degrees off each side of center and then they are offset the radius of the sphere.  It you want them to cut into the sphere, just reduce the offset value.  Do not forget you can resize created workplanes.

Thanks for the info, is there a way to tilt the plane by two angles? I think I can get the right effect by rotating the model, but it'd be nice to know the proper way. I've included the file this time.

If you want a compound angle to the origin, you should follow @laughingcreek solution.  It is a bit more complex for a new user but also any combination of angles is possible.
