Creating object by rotating cylinder

Hello!

I'm trying to create object that would be made by rotating cylinder for 20° on axis vertical to it's length.
I "can" get the shape by creating circular pattern for 20°and setting 20 copies, but it's not smooth and I strongly beleive there's way better solution.

1st attachment is explanation of "rotating cylinder for 20° on axis vertical to it's length"
2nd attachment is the way-not-to-do-it.

I'm using version 2.0.10032

Kind regards,

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Do you want the flat top?

Hello!

Thank you for prompt response. Image you provided is very close to what I wanted to achieve.
I've attached my attempt.

Can you point me in the right direction?

Kind regards,

I have been wrecking my head with this problem for the last 3 days, and this is tho closest I've managed to come. I still cannot combine all bodies, one surface is illegal.

@TheCADWhisperer, could you advise, please?

Is this what you want?  The axis are a total of 20 degrees to each other, 10 degrees to the vertical centerline.  If this is not the angle, simply modify the first sketch.  You can modify the diameter (radius) in this sketch also.  Model is attached.

Hello,

That is, indeed, close to what i need, but the swiped area should be smooth.
Please se attached file. That's the result I'm looking for, but without "Illegal surfaces". (Try combining bodies to see the problem.)

Kind regards,

If anybody is interested, here is how I solved it.

I've drawn all the edges, patched them, stiched them and then mirrored, copied, rotated.
The problem I had was that I was trying to create the smooth shape by using sweep command in surfaces. That created seemingly ok result, but in the end it was an "Illegal surface".

Attached is my sollution.

Component v1 is "Illegal surface"
Component v2 is the solution
