Creating Iterations or Variations based off the same T-Spline Form

Hello,

I'm fairly new to Fusion 360 but have been focusing on it the past few months and have had great success when asking a question in this forum.  Primarily working in the Forms environment at the moment.

Question: Is it possible to make variations on a "base" form that has been created.  For instance, If I extrude a circle a certain amount and then use soft modification to edit the form to a final body, can I then start from that body to make further variations?  As on the attached image, I'd like to use the circular form as a starting point to create variations of the other forms, without having to start from the sketch and extrude the shape again.  Is that possible?

Thank you.

Hi! You may move the timeline marker to a point and save the design as another design. Then delete the rest of the features after the timeline.

Many thanks!

Create the form, exit Form mode, then use Derive to create your N variations.  You can do different downstream modeling in each derived design.  This method will allow you to go back and modify the Form, and the downstream designs can be updated, and will recompute based on the new form.

You can also use Configurations, if you have a commercial license, all within the same design, but that might actually be harder, because all the downstream features would have to be in a single design, and you would use Suppress and Unsuppress to manage the different variations.

Copy/paste the "old" form into a new form and then start your modifications.

You can do that in the same file so you can compare shapes side-by-side.
