Creating a V shaped part

I have been working on this project for quite some time with no luck. I have tried placing two "flanges" in space and creating a loft and just cant seem to make it work. My first question is how do I place a point in 3d space? Attached are some pictures of a billet piece, like I'm trying to make, a weldment (that I have made) and a oem casting of the part I do not need to cad up the feed tube yet just the cross section itself.

Any help is appreciated thanks

The two flanges are staggered and I must maintain the right length from bolt hole to bolt hole.

Hi @Pillnoob,

Welcome to Fusion 360.

You attached several picture and I'm not sure, which of them are you trying to make. It will be best, if you could make screencast and show us what exactly are you trying to make and what doesn't seems to work for you.

Cheers / Ben

I need to maintain 40 degrees and control the distance from each upper bolt hole to the other. I am trying to make this out of billet so minus the round tube it will be machined from a square block good starter video but I am having trouble with bolt hole spacing side to side.
