Creating a solid body from a surfaces in IGES file

Hope someone can help?

I am new to 3D modelling and Fusion 360 and have an IGES file of a scanned footwear last that I need to make into a solid body so I can then edit, create drawings from and dimension.

When I upload the file I only appear to have a few surfaces and I am unable to stitch them together to create a solid.

I am able to render the model, but can't seem to create a solid body from it.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Many thanks

Can you attach the original IGES file here?

@Anonymous

Do you see an attachment here?

You might need to Zip the file first.

If running in Windows OS, right click on the filename and select Send to Compressed (zipped) Folder.

Attach the resulting *.zip file here.

I'm very sorry, but I don't see any file attached.

Did you receive my original file?

Many thanks

Do you see an Attachments option when you reply to the message?

The command you want is most likely Stitch, to close surfaces into a solid body. But if you can attach the file it will help and we can see if there are missing surfaces or unusual gaps.

On your screenshots, it would be helpful to see more of the screen, to know what workspace you are in. The Patch workspace is appropriate for working with surfaces.
