creating a pocket thats wrapped around a radius?

Hello, I'm new to the community, as well as Fusion 360. I have only been using it for a couple months. I'm in the process of trying to recreate a 3d printed design, and machine it in my machining class for a project. Is it possible to create a pocket that wraps around a radius evenly , and if so, how? in the attached pictures are examples of what I'm trying to do. the picture with the pockets in it is full of mesh lines, and in the process of trying to merge them, i gave up and thought it would be easier to just redraw the whole thing..

I don't have access to Fusion right now so I can't create a screencast but I would try the following:

  1. Extrude the main body as a rectangle,
  2. Cut the openinging (pockets) from the main rectangular body,
  3. Add a Fillet to the desired edge of the main body,
  4. If required, shell the main body (I wasn't sure whether the body needed to be hollow or not.)

Here's an idea to try.

First create a offset plane at the centre of one of the end pockets.

Then start a sketch on that plane and project the edge of the arc.

Next construct a cross section of the pocket.

And make an extrude cut.

Fillet the corners then make a pattern for the other pockets.
