Creating a loft between two profiles, Rail problem

Hi All, having some issues with loft. The one rail I created seems to work and the other one gives me an error :

The selected rail does not touch all of the profiles

I have tried a bunch of things but no luck. I have attached the file if someone could help with a fix please.

Many Thanks,

Hide the rail sketches, and use the edges of the body.

Can check the file later in the day...

Did you turn off Capture Design History at some point?

Multiple missing sketch constraints?

Three lines where one would suffice???

Delete the profile sketches and recreate them.

They should both be in the same component (not in two different components).

Project the straight line edges from the first component. (One Projection in each sketch.)

You should probably design the whole thing from scratch in one file so we can see how the model was built from the very beginning.

You imported the body from "the other thread" where I helped you fillet the model, but even that already did not show a complete design history.

@TrippyLighting Ok, I will redraw the part and repost the file with design history. Thanks again for your help on the last thread too!

In addition to the other advice,

Loft rails - curves, are required to have tangent connections, your body edge fails for this reason too.

No history for the current body, I am stuck.

Thanks for the advice. I’m going to see if I can dig up the original drawing with all of the history. I really appreciate your help. I’ll post file as soon ASAP.

cheers,
