I am trying to recreate a STL file(spunt1.stl) in fusion 360(my sink plug, see attached). However, I got stuck at the very top bit of the plug which it is connect to a curve surface and itself is not a simple shape as well.

How should a tackle this shape?

The model is replaced at the center, a cross-section is extracted in the XY direction, and each body is created from that cross-section. As a prerequisite, STL files are imported and then converted to solid bodies.

I tried to reproduce this part of the section with a sectional loft like this.

The apex portion was also reproduced with loft to the point.

Join everything together, drill holes from the side, and you are done.

I have pasted the model and you can refer to the history to see how to make it.
