can you provide some more information?  I am not sure what a "45 degree loft" is.  Maybe some images of what you want to create would help.  Thanks.

Also wanting to turn it into sheet metal and flat pattern it in new to fusion as of feb 1

Thicken your body.

Convert to Sheetmetal.

 

Create Flat Pattern.

Thanks for the picture.  It looks like you have already created the loft.  However, converting to sheet metal, I think, will not work in Fusion today.  This is what we call a "lofted flange", and I don't believe it is supported today.  However, there is an active project now to support this type of sheet metal design, that should be available in a future release.

Windows and macOS have built-in functions to create screenshots.

On Windows it's Shift + Windows-Key + S.

In macOS it's Shift + CMD + 4
