created circular pattern and somethings off....

so i created a circular pattern and then i went to extrude them and i could only select about half of the objects i wanted to extrude, as you can see in the screenshot. can someone let me know what happened and how i can fix this so i can select all of the pieces. thanks yall

My preference is to pattern features rather than sketch entities.

I also prefer to fully define every sketch.

Also, the center of your pattern is off. It has resulted in some constraints that make sense and others that don't. It's a VERY small difference... but if you look at the end points you will see them change from being on the larger circle to being inside as you go around.

If you look closely at the center you'll see two points.

how can i fix that without changing a whole bunch of other things? is it even possible?

Unfortunately editing circular patterns of sketch entities lacks the ability to change the center point. This is one of the (many) reasons why it is advisable to pattern features - as a patterned feature is a feature itself and is easily editable.

With that being said...

What I would do is edit the pattern. Click the circular pattern icon near the center point and edit the pattern. Set it to TWO instances. Delete the second instance (which will kill the pattern - you'll see a momentary warning pop up). Then you can re-do the pattern and get the center correct.

thank you. man, i just went back and saw the tiny little difference.....im just getting back into doing CAD work. my undergrad was Mech Engr but after i grad i got into oil and gas and no design but then went to med school after that, so im just trying to get back into designing a few things since im going to have a year or so off. it aint like riding a bike, thats for sure. thanks again man
