Create form surface with sketch profile

I am trying to create a form surface that has the profile from a sketch. As seen in the screenshot below the form surface has sharp corners and does not match the sketch profile. First, I created a 2d surface patch from a sketch, then I went into the form environment and converted BRep Face to T Spline, then edit form and drag the inner 4 faces upward. I tried to use the match command but it says "invalid input edges". I tried to extrude the profile in the form environment but the profile does not match the sketch. I tried to split body but of course this makes an uneven edge that deviates from the "bottom plane" that would theoretically be the mounting surface of this part. This is going to be an airbox manifold/naca inlet. I appreciate seeing others approach to this.

Thanks

Extrude in Form will require adjusting the number of faces to more closely match the profile.  As far as Brep->Form conversion, there are limitations in this function, and no guarantee that the generated TSpline will exactly match the trimmed surface.  The usual workflow is to use this conversion to create an "overbuilt" TSpline, and use Replace Face to make the result work in the Solid environment.  I'm not sure about Match, and why it won't work, hard to say without the model itself.

That is unlikely a workflow that will succeed. Can you share an image of an object similar to what you want to create ?

Perhaps, you can also share you .f3d file.

Your design contains a sketch and a form surface. That is pretty useless and it doesn't provide any context of what you are trying to create.

How about an image of similar geometry ?

In the meantime "Modify-> Replace face" might be an option:
