Create Assembly from a Design...

Hello,

I am teaching myself to use F360 following various YouTube videos.  My first real design that I will be building for our home is this 10’ x 20’ Pavilion.  I will use a CNC router (New Avid Pro4896 that I recently ordered) to cut the mortise and tenons, and drill holes for dowels.

As I have completed the design and now ready to go to CAM, I am following Austin Shaner’s video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VPMvnzmuTOw) to learn CAM Basics.

My problem is…. Austin starts with an assembly and opening it.  However, I did not create an assembly when I modeled the pavilion (didn't know I was supposed to) so now I am not sure what to do.  I have spent a good amount of time searching for “converting a design into an assembly in F360” but not coming up with anything.

Can anyone tell me how to get my components into assembly mode so I can go into CAM?

Thanks so much!

if you have more than one component in your model, it's an assembly.

you might need to post more info to get better help.  a pic of your entire screen, including the browser tree would be good, or even better the model. (export as an .f3d file)

Absolutely! I have exported the .f3d file to my original post.

Thanks so much!
