Create a complex component with a single body

I suppose I'm asking a naive question. I'd like to be able to export a STEP file of an electronic board, created with Eagle, where all the bodies constitute a single complex body that maintains the appearances of each single body.

I've tried with "combine" but it doesn't work, because it's a huge job since in a board there can be hundreds of parts but, above all, the parts all acquire the appearance of the board that hosts them.

The final result I would like to obtain is the one shown in the figure, relative to an electronic component found online.

The component in the example has only one body made up of several single bodies, which each maintain their own appearance.

Thanks in advance for your support.

You want to create a Component. Components can contain bodies. Each of the bodies can still have their own appearance, as in your screenshot.

Hi Rob,

thanks for your answer.

A 3D electronic board created by an Eagle to a Fusion 360 sync is made by a bunch of components, one for each electronic part.

If the board contains 300 or 400 electronic parts, I obtain a Fusion 360 file with the same number of components, where each component could have more than one body.

For example, a simple MLCC capacitor has 3 bodies, and a board is full of this kind of capacitors.

Does it exist a way to move the bodies of each component (part) into a unique component (PCB + all parts composition) automatically ?

Furthermore, keeping all bodies as separate entities is of no use to customers who receive the board's STEP, which they treat as a single component.

It would be a perfect solution to collapse all the bodies into a single body, which should retains all the visual details of the original bodies.

In the example that I've posted there is only one component, containing only one body, which is clearly made up of different bodies having different graphic characteristics.

Is there a way to obtain this result with fusion 360 ?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards

Claudio
