Crazy Colors When Opening a Drawing

This morning I opened a drawing to update it and check some dimensions and this is what I got:

Screen Shot 2016-02-16 at 11.30.51.png

I already had a Fusion model and another drawing open (without any issues--graphical or otherwise).  When I roll my mouse cursor over the screen, the sections that are crazy are updated, allowing me to see the drawing.

I have seen this a few times before...has anyone else?  What is going on?

What does your graphics diagnostic say?

Looks like graphics trouble.

Can you repeat this? Or was it somewhat random? Does re-starting your computer help?

If it does repeat, can you try turning off the two really heavy effects: Ambient Occlusion and Anti-Aliasing, then see if it still repeats.

Please let us know the results.

I have seen it a number of times before, but it seems rather random.

I have not tried restarting for this issue because moving my mouse over the screen (or opening another window in front of Fusion and then going back to Fusion) gets rid of the rainbow.

Okay, please then just let us know if turning off the heavy effects makes any difference.

Thanks,

Is there a way to turn these effects off individually?  In the preferences menu, I did not see either of these options.  It appears to be all-or-nothing.

Try the menu located in the Nav toolbar, center bottom of the screen.

Hi Josh,

Is this happening only with drawings or have you seen it with designs too?  Do you have a secondary monitor hooked up to your Macbook?  Next time this happens can you try a window resize or Zoom Fit in the drawing and see if that clears it up?

Thanks,
Chris

I have only seen this happen with designs.  I am using an external monitor.

I will try resizing/zooming next time I see it.

Correction - I have only seen this with DRAWINGS, not with models.

Unrelated note: there does not appear to be a way to edit my previous post...

I just saw this again this morning on a drawing.  I opened two drawings--one immediately after the other.  The first one loaded with the color bar pattern; the second loaded fine.

Re-sizing the window or switching applications corrects the issue.
