Costume rendering back ground questions.

I recent was playing with the background features and was wondering what type of file is need to have a costume background image while rendering?

Hi @Anonymous,

 

Right now, you can use only use the High Dynamic Range image format. The supported file types are .hdr and .exr. To create a custom background for the render environment, open the Scene Settings menu and in the Environment drop down tab, change the Style to "Custom". Then (still in scene settings) go to the Background drop down menu and make sure that the option "Environment" is selected.
