Copying View in Animation

To reduce the chance of having to redo a long animation should an catastrophic error occur, I prefer to make shorter storybooks and link them together.  Being able to copy a view within a storybook or between storybooks in the same model became a desirable feature.  Named Views are not available in animation so it is impossible to use them to return to the same view.  However, I did find a way to duplicate views within or across storybooks.   A quick check did not show this tip posted anywhere.

To duplicate a view in the same storybook or new storybook.
Go to the view desired in the storybook where it is displayed.
Go to the view cube in the upper right of the screen.
Right Mouse Button.
Select "Select current view as home' and 'Fixed distance'.
Go to the new storybook (or just shift the timeline).
Select the home button near the view cube.
The view changes to the new "Home' view and the camera movement is inserted into the storybook starting from the initial orientation.
