Copying a plane to master component

Hello,

I have a linked master component I'm using for defining "global" properties for many of my components. Since it is my master component, I would like to define a plane referenced off of one of those components and copy it to the master component.

I can create an offset plane just fine with a zero offset, but I don't seem to be able to select the plan and copy it to the master component. Any suggestions, hints, great words of wisdom?

Hi,

that should not be a problem.
Create an offset plane (distance =0) to the plane of any component as you said.
But the target area (component) must be active. Then the new plane will also be there.
