Copy/Paste component or body in place?

Hey folks,

im not sure if this is actually possible to do and im guessing its because fusion will see it as placing two bodies in the same space, but is it possible to copy/paste a body in place where it already was?

What I am trying to do is clean up a model, in which I did not organize my browser very well. I am unable to move components into another component without pasting them into it, however I don't want anything to move around.

The only way I have found to do it, is copy paste move it an inch over and then just move it back.

Unless I misunderstand your question, yes, you should be able to just paste it in place.  Just don't move anything, and hit OK:

In the first part of your post, you talk about copying bodies without moving.  @jeff.strater answered that for you.  In the second part of your post you talk about organizing components without moving them.  I may be missing the task, since you did not post your model, but I created a Screencast to show how to re-organize components into sub-assemblies without moving them.

Post your assembly and define what you truly want and the forum users will probably be able to assist.
