Copy canvas between designs ?

Is there a way to copy canvasas between designs ? because I want to build different parts in different designs and then assemble them and have no setup the canvas in one design just as i want.

You can insert the canvas into it's own design, just for the canvas.

That file you can then insert into another Fusion 360 design (and maybe break the link before you safe that design).

In that new design that canvas will then be part of a component. I am not sure there is a way to get it out of that component, if that's what you need.

Well sure if you plan in advance that would be ok 😃 but right now im sitting with a very heavy design and want to add more to it without a super long timeline, thus I wanted to split it into 2 by copying the canvase into a new design and just continue fresh there.
