copy and paste behaviour

I don't know if this is a bug, but it feels like one since I don't understand what is happening.  Could you please either confirm that it is a bug, or explain what is happening if it's not.  Thanks!

I'm not entirely sure that I understand the concern, but I'm guessing that the question is about the orientation of the pasted sketch line in the new sketch.  Is that correct?

It's a bit hard to say without seeing the design.  But, when you copy/paste a sketch entity from one sketch to another, Fusion should orient the pasted entity with respect to the new sketch's coordinate system so that it is the same as in the original sketch.  It's a little hard to tell from the screencast whether this is true in this case.  It think (hope) that it is.  The pasted line is definitely at what looks like the same angle, so I think it is correct.

The real way to tell is to edit the source sketch, and do a look-at so that we are looking at the sketch from along the sketch normal, with the X axis oriented horizontally, then do the same with the pasted sketch, and see if they are oriented the same with respect to their coordinate systems.

Ok, I understand it now, Thanks.  I guess I wass expecting it to paste in place like a body does when it is copied.  This behaviour makes since for sketches, though it would make a little more since to me if the copy used the orientaion of the sketch currently being edited.

cheers-
