copy & paste measured values

Anonymous

Hello,

I'm trying to copy & paste a measured value from the measure dialog box. the command says click to copy to clipboard, but when I attempt to paste the value in to my parameters table, I'm not given the option. Earlier this evening, before the update installed, I was able to paste previously copied stuff from my clipboard, but it wasn't the copied value from the meaure dialog box, it was web adresses copied from eariler work.

It would be really cool to measure a value, copy it, then insert it in to the paramters table to ensure accuracy with assembly fit and so on.

Thanks,

Matt

To copy to the clipboard from the measure dialog you need to double click on the value.

As Mark mentioned you need to double click to copy the value currently. This is however a bug since the intent is to copy the value with a single click as you would expect. Fix coming.

If you single click on a value in the any of the dialogs, the value will be put in the clipboard.  The UI (Windows) no longer shows that the copy was done.  Ctrl V will paste it in the Parameters dialog.

If this isn't working for you, make a screencast showing what you're doing.
