Copied component won't Joint.

I have created a component and then made a Move/Copy that component.

I then want to create a joint for both components.

It will let me joint the original component but not the copy.

Am I missing something when copying?

Not enough information.

Did you Paste New?  Jointing both components, to another?  Themselves?

Might help....

I am guessing you accidentally had Body selected, for your Move Object, in your Move Copy.  This will create a new body instead of a component which will only allow a one way Joint.  Video will show this.

Sorry.
I created the original component.
I then used the move/copy command in the Solid>Modify menu to make copy of
the original.
Then I used the Joint command to constrain the original component to a
point.
That worked just fine.
When I tried to constrain the copied component, I couldn't even select it
to create a joint.

please show your workflow with a video or screencast.  I've never seen a case where a copied component cannot be selected for a joint.  Are you certain that you are copying the component and not the body, as @jhackney1972 suggested?

OK
Didn't see that it was on bodies.
Changed to component and it works just fine.
Thanks for the help and sorry for the trouble.
