converting older fles

I have some geometry trapped in Generic Cadd files and I wondered if any versions of AutocadLT or Autocad have maybe a demo that I could use to convert these to DXF? Generic went to Autodesk and Autocad LT came out shortly after and would work for a while, at least we could use that but I don't see it as a feature anymore. Fusion doesn't have that ability.

What is a "Generic CADD" file extension?  Maybe just attach one of them also.

These are *.GCD Autodesk bought them out in the late 80's and it was convertible shortly after for a while anyway

You will need to export from Generic Cadd or Visual Cadd as dxf files.  How many files do  you have?

Just a couple. I never thought I'd see this machine again heh. I have the disks for Cadd but no floppy drives and I'd probably have to get a Windows 98 machine put to gether and working from parts. Alternatively, I can just wait for the machine to arrive and take what I need by measurement

Visual Cadd 6.0 seems to handle these fine.

Yes, it was renamed to Visual Cadd after Autodesk dropped it.
