Convert a Patch to T-Spline

Hello members,

I am designing knife scales(handles, one on each side of the knife tang) and used loft and t-spline for the main body but found the patch function the easiest for the section facing the blade (the front). Keep in mind this part of the scale is not flat or square(curved face). As the title suggests I would like to convert the patch over to T-spline form so I can merge edges and make further adjustments.

Thanks for looking,

Rod

Usually the other way around,

Tspine exits to Design area as a Surface or Solid.

If an open surface body?

Patch to cover the cavity, then Surface > Modify > Stitch all the bodies to make Solid body.

(Design dependent)

Might help.....

Thanks for the input, I've been able to work around the problem.

Peter, I understand the request to send along the drawing but am hesitant to post. This is for a product I've been making for over 12 years by hand  ( now putting into cnc production) and have had people copy my ideas in the past. Its not patentable but trying to cover my butt as much as possible.
