Construction Lines, working on mid plane

Saw another post about construction geometry. reply was that it's doable in Fusion 360. Any more info on how to do this?

Also, created a solid block, created a midplane, want to work on this midplane and create geometry. can draw on this ok but can't referenece edges of the t get location. Can do it on the face of a solid.

Any help?

Thanks,

Peter

I don't know for sure if this is how Fusion works, but I've regarded construction planes (working planes) as infinite in extent- a one dimensional reference. What you see is just a visual reference.  To measure from something you would need to create a sketch that defined the edges you want.  If you want that to be the intersection of an object and the plane, then the Project or Project Cut Edges tools will place those lines on the sketch.
