Constant lock-ups and poor network performance after Save.

I've noticed since the first update in January that I'm getting lots of hang-ups whilst working, with Fusion freezing for a couple of seconds and an occasional Browser bar blackout. It really is getting to the point where its unusable.

Connection is fine, If I work offline, or I choose new design from file and DON'T save it its fine. Problems only begin once the design has been saved.

I mentioned it earlier in a couple of threads but not heard anything since.

Is anyone else seeing this ?

Hi @Trigg3r,

here too! If i save a design fusion lag's extreme and is not really usable for several minutes.

Sometimes i expand a component in the browser and fusion360 thinks one minute before it opens that component. During that my mac shows the beachball that indicates a heavy process.

I experienced this behavior only after the January update!!

@Trigg3r @macmanpb - do you mind trying to disable your CAM cloud libraries and seeing how/if this improves performance?  We believe there is an issue and are working on a fix, but a possible workaround to speed things up in the meantime is to disable your CAM cloud library.

Hi @brianrepp,

I have disabled CAM cloud libraries and worked a little bit. Unfortunately it helps not to speed up fusion360 here.

@brianreppI've tried a full clean re-install this afternoon and am still experiencing the problems. Seems it's not limited to OS either as I'm on Win10 and @macmanpb is on mac I believe.

I've just disabled cloud libraries, I'll keep you posted.

Meanwhile, here's a view I'm getting used to..

Thx @Anonymous (i assume you're the same person as @Trigg3r :-).  Let me know if you notice a difference.

@macmanpb - I'll reach out to you via email for a few more details.

Hi @brianrepp Yeah, apologies, I was still logged in after making an account for the workshop to see if it was related to just my account. I've invited the other account to that design.

Meanwhile, here's a screenshot of the problem with task manager open and the resource monitor.

Let me know if you need the original.

Thanks @Trigg3r - curious, after disabling the cloud libraries, did you restart Fusion 360?

@brianrepp I'm pretty sure I did Smiley Frustrated

I'll try and do a bit more trouble shooting tomorrow. It's time for nightshifts in the proper job 😄

Thanks @Trigg3r - let me know.  @macmanpb was able to confirm this did the trick for him (after the restart).

@brianrepp Things seem to have settled down after disabling Cloud Libraries and restarting.

I am still a little cautious though 😉

Thanks for the help.
