Connecting and upgrading my accounts...

Is there any way to connect my fusion paid account to my free subscription account, as I want to link them in some way to share files and save the trouble of having to keep swapping between accounts...
Also if I have free subscription Fusion, how would I upgrade it to education, and would it still be possible to link my education and paid account? (if paid and free is possible...)

Kind regards

Ricky

With each Fusion account, you should have a unique Team.  You will be able to go into the Web Database and select on Projects, Folders or the entire Team and add users that have access.  You will be adding yourself.  I do this between my Subscription Account and Personal Account.  The only thing I am not sure about is if you will be able to do this is you used the same Autodesk ID to log into both accounts.  I use a different Autodesk ID for each of my Fusion accounts so it is very easy.  If you used the same Autodesk ID, then you will just have to experiment.

Hi @jhackney1972

I'm generally young, and I'll just say that I'm relatively new to fusion with little experience. How do I set up the team thing and Autodesk ID? - the email address?

Kind regards

Fusion requires an Autodesk ID to use it so you must already have at least one Autodesk ID.  If you have multiple Fusion Licenses, I will guess and hope you used a different Email address to set up each.  A school approved email address is required to get a Fusion Educational License, all other Fusion License types can use any standard email address.  You can log into your Autodesk Account using one or more of your Autodesk IDs.  The web address is here.

As for as setting up a Fusion Team, you should have been prompted to do so when you first logged into Fusion.  Autodesk has eliminated Single-User Storage so a creating a Team is required.  The process is outlined in this webpage.

You can only have one "free" Team per Autodesk ID.  As I mentioned earlier, I have one Team for my Fusion Subscription License and a different one for my Fusion Personal License each using a different Autodesk ID.  Once setup you can give Permissions and Rights to Projects and Folders, or both, so you can share files between them as my previous post pointed out.  One important note, when logged Fusion using one Team, you cannot open or load files from the other Team hub unless the Teams were created using a Fusion Subscription account.  I share files between four Fusion Subscription account teams but cannot share files with Fusion Personal License Teams.  Those file I would download from the Team to my hard drive.
