Connect lines in 2 perpendicular sketches

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi,

I am trying to connect 2 splines (in other words I need them to intersect). These splines are in 2 different sketches and sketches are perpendicular each to other.

I am not able to figure out, how to enable "snap in" feature to connect them. During initial drawing is connecting lines simple as "snap-in" feature is simple and the first spline is "sticky" ...

Unfortunately, once spline is drawn, sticky feature disappeared.

Thanks for any hint.

Please find attached screencast. Screencast includes simplified sample. I am trying to connect splines in a much more complex model where splines are already prepared.....

P.S.. I was not able to find a solution for my question in the forum. Sorry in case I missed the right topic.

Screencast didn't come through,

after selecting it, you need to click the insert button, on same page lower down,

Wild guess,

in the second sketch, you need to Project > Intersect the first spline into the second sketch, then you can snap to that point. (in 2d Sketches)

Might help....
