Configured Design - Create a Left and Right Assembly with Mirror and Configurations

Hello everyone

I've created a Left Assembly and I want to Mirror (not copy) the Base Plate so that I can then use Configured Design to create a Left and Right Assembly.

Unfortunately, I can't find a Mirror command under Modify.

I'm assuming this feature isn't available yet.

What is your opinion on this?

Thanks

Christoph

I think you're looking in the wrong place. Could you look at this path?

Solid > Create > Mirror

One way to create a mirrored body without creating a copy is to use a non uniform scale and scale one axis by -1. You will not be able to enter minus numbers in the dialog while creating the scale feature but you can enter minus numbers in the parameter manager after creating the feature.

Absolutely great, thank you for this extremely important information.

Anyone familiar with the automotive industry knows that many assemblies and CAM parts are available in left-hand and right-hand versions.

Thanks a lot

It is customary to mark Accept Solution on the post that gave you the answer you needed, not give it to yourself.  In the case you acknowledged that @HughesTooling gave you the help you needed but you did not mark his post with an Accept Solution.  Please change this!

Absolutly Right, thank you very much for your reply and this hint, it was a mistake on my part, I wanted to choose the Post of HugesTooling as an Accepted Solution.

Thanks
