component sharing between designs

wondering if there is a way to share individual components from from one design to another, currently the only way i know how is to link an entire design and hide all the components i dont need? is there a better way?

You need to save the component into the data panel with "Save copy as".

Then you can insert that component into other designs. In these other designs that component will show with a little chain link symbol indicating that it is a linked component.

To change the component you'll have to edit and save the original in the data panel and then update the design you linked it to.

If you also wot to use tat component as a linked component in the originating design, you'll have to delete it there and the insert/link it back in from the data panel.
